Leadership Programs

The Foundation currently operates three leadership programs annually. Two of these leadership programs are specifically for Israeli executives and specifically focus on enhancing these select executives and their companies’ ability to operate in the United States and to succeed in the global marketplace. At present the Foundation is focusing on the life sciences, security, and IT areas for the Executive Leadership Programs, which feature an innovative business development component beginning with introductions to relevant U.S. entrepreneurs possibly interested in cooperating with value-adding Israeli businesses. In addition, each summer the Foundation holds a leadership program for top Israeli MBA students.

All of the Foundations’ programs provide highly effective approaches to successful marketing, negotiation techniques, applied networking and sales strategies, finance, and legal and procurement issues for Israeli entrepreneurs operating in the U.S. market. Faculty members include some of the most effective U.S. entrepreneurs as well as experts from leading U.S. business schools. Faculty lead the program participants through highly interactive sessions that include relevant case studies, simulations, and project-focused assignments. The network of program graduates (the Foundations’ Fellows) is one of the chief benefits of participating in the program.

Israeli Executive Leadership Program

The Merage Foundation for U.S.-Israel Trade selects up to fifteen participants for our Executive Leadership Programs in Life Sciences (spring) and IT/Security (fall).  The programs focus on enhancing your and your company’s ability to operate in the United States and to succeed in the global marketplace.

MBA Student Summer Education Program

MBA students are nominated by the Foundation’s Business School Deans Advisory Board. The Foundation’s Israeli Advisory Board, after reviewing the Deans’ nominees, recommends candidates to the Foundation.
